In the week of May 1, St. Philip the Apostle School celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week. Teacher Appreciation Week is a great way to honor our hardworking teachers that care for us and help us succeed in our school work. Teachers help prepare us for the future so that we are able to go out into the world and succeed. To us, teachers are a tool. To them, this is their job and their passion. Last week, to honor our beloved teachers, St. Philip the Apostle School had the theme of Hollywood movies. In addition to the schoolwide theme, each class had its own theme. Once they chose a theme, they decorated each classroom with decorations for the theme, honoring their teacher. This was a pleasant surprise for all of the teachers, and they enjoyed it very much. Plus, on Thursday, May 4, students had alternate dress and wore their teacher’s favorite color. St. Philip the Apostle School students would like to thank all of the teachers for their hard work and dedication!
