The Land of Stories: Worlds Collide by Chris Colfer is a book I would recommend grades 6-8. This sixth installment of The Land of Stories series is the final story where the Bailey twins embark on their final written adventure. In this last journey, the twins must save New York City from fairy tale villains with the help of their friends who just happen to be fairytale heroes. These heroes such as Goldilocks, Red Riding Hood, Jack (Jack and the Beanstalk), Peter Pan and even some original characters. Even if you are not a fan of fairytales, Chris Colfer’s ability to add his own twist of personality changed what you usually think when hear this classic characters names. I would recommend starting at book one and work your way to six. Chris Colfer is the author of The Land of Stories: Worlds Collide.
