Candy Cell Project
Last Monday 7th grade participated in a science project where they were required to make a model of an animal cell with candy. The types of candy they were allowed to use were jolly ranchers, skittles, smarties, twizzlers, m&ms, air heads, and many more. In this project each student had to fill out a chart describing the organelle, what it does, where it is located, and what candy you used. There were many projects that had a lot of creativity. This project was very fun because we had the opportunity to show how creative we are.

I just read this! I did not eat my cell when I was done.

Hands on science in action. Did you eat your “cell” when you were finished?
