This year for Thanksgiving, I will be going to Santa Ynez. The reason I will go to Santa Ynez is because my family has a ranch there where we all go once in awhile to get away from the fast pace of school. Up in Santa Ynez, not only is there more space, but there are also a lot of farms with many animals on them that make for great entertainment when on a walk down the street. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the fact that there are not as many people as in Pasadena makes the wide open space a special and quiet place to decompress. The area of my family’s ranch is also about 4 miles from Solvang which is a cute and popular Danish town full of shops and small hotels. The reason my family is going up to Santa Ynez for the holidays is so my mom can show the ranch to her friends who do not usually go anywhere for Thanksgiving. I  hope you come visit Santa Ynez and Solvang to see the amazing scenery.
