Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Over Thanksgiving break, I had the privilege to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City with my family. This parade is put on by Macy’s, the department store. This year, the parade included balloons such as: Spongebob, Hello Kitty, the red Power Ranger and Olaf the Snowman. Celebrities in the parade also included Jimmy Fallon, Jojo Siwa, Gwen Stefani and Sabrina Carpenter. On my way to the parade, a bunch of Target employees that work at the new Target in New York City, by Macy’s were handing out free mittens with Target logos on them. The Target employees were handing these out so during the parade, half of the crowd was wearing a Target logo at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Other than the Target employees literally raining down on Macy’s parade, the 2017 parade was a success.
