Every year, each grade completes a Christian Service Project. In October, the third grade donated gifts to different foundations that support mothers who cannot afford to buy supplies for their babies and infants. On the St. Philip church bulletin board, there were pieces of paper with different items that would be useful to mothers with infants and toddlers. Some of those items included diapers, baby bottles, baby wipes, binkies etc. People were asked to take these and buy whatever was on the paper, and wrap those items to make them look like presents. There was a basket in the front of the church that was dedicated for the donated gifts. Those gifts would then go to different women’s centers and be given to mothers who cannot not otherwise afford those items. Thank you for your donations!
