Women’s March 2018
On Saturday, January 20th, my mom and I went to Pershing Square to watch the Women’s March. The Women’s March is where people all across the country are marching to support women’s rights. The streets of downtown Los Angeles were filled with men, women and children wearing pink beanies and pink everything. On the sidewalk, you could find t-shirts and pins being sold and the metro system was flooding with women marchers. I took the metro from old town to downtown and each station, as we got closer, was busier and busier than the last. I was watching from the end of the route and it was very cool to see people swarm the end of the route coming from all directions.
The 2018 women’s march in Los Angeles, I have to say, had a very amazing turn out.
