Lego Robotics is an after school extra curricular activity that is open for students in 4th and 5th grade. While in robotics, they are using legos to build certain things. One of the structures they are trying to currently build is a car that is powered by a motor. The students first have to build the car with legos, and then they must attach the motor, so the car will actually move. This requires a lot of thought, and is a fun thing to do if you enjoy STEM; science, technology, engineering, and math. Mateo Soto in 5A says that he really likes participating in lego robotics, and that it is a good way learn while spending time with your friends. If you haven’t joined lego robotics yet, you should definitely try it next year, and if you are in 6-8 grade, you are also able to participate in robotics without using legos. Robotics is really fun overall, and I highly suggest joining if you are yet to do so.
