‘A Wrinkle in Time’ was released on February 26th, 2018. The film is based on the book written by Madeleine L’Engle. It was highly advertised on television, social media, and magazines. There were certainly high expectations for this film. Unfortunately, the film did not exceed those expectations according to cinema lovers including myself. It wasn’t entirely terrible but going back to the amazing advertising they put out there, it just didn’t live up. Book lovers that saw the movie with seem to agree. The movie was certainly a lot less confusing the book. Personally, I can’t imagine understanding this movie as a book. For this reason, I’m very happy it was made into a film to truly tell this fascinating and intriguing story. This movie is recommended for people that aren’t looking for high expectations and still love thrill seeking stories that spark imaginative thoughts. As a little kid, I would definitely be scared by some of the movie scenes. Therefore, I recommend this movie for kids in 3rd grade and up. Overall, I give A Wrinkle In Time 3.5 stars. What do you think of A Wrinkle In Time, the movie? Did you read the book?
