Lord of the Flies
Lord of the Flies is a novel by William Golding. The story tells about a plane crash on a deserted island. The survivors are divided in what they want to accomplish and at first fail to realize that they are not the only ones on the island. As the story unfolds, Golding takes the reader through a plot that becomes more mysterious and more interesting than any other story. I recommend this book to 6-8th graders.
