Teacher of the Month

The Teacher of the Month for September is, Coach Guzman! Coach Guzman teaches grades kinder- 3rds P.E.! Coach has been a substitute teacher for 6 years and a P.E. teacher at St.Philips for 8 years. She has 3 kids, 2 have already graduated from St.Philips and 1 in 5th grade. Here are some questions I asked Coach Guzman:

Q: “What is your favorite sport?”

A: “I like to run, but my favorite sport to watch is soccer.”

Q: “What sports do you coach?”

A: “I coach volleyball”

Q: “Where did you grow up?”

A: “ I grew up in Pasadena/Altadena.”

Q: “What is a fun fact about you?”

A: “My favorite animal is a narwhal, just kidding, if I could be any animal I would be a dolphin!”

Coach Guzman is a wonderful, fun, and a great P.E. teacher! We all love and enjoy having her teach us!
