Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell is a novel about Cath and her adaptation to life as a freshman in college. Before college, Cath was a writer of fanfiction and was really good. Thousands of people read her stories. But her quiet life as a fanfiction writer with her best friend Wren, her twin sister, will come to an end when Wren said she wants to meet other people and that they should make new friends. This leaves Cath with no friends except her roommate Reagan, who works at Olive Garden and Levi, a Starbucks barista. I recommend Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell to grades 6-8.
