This week’s out and about is Coronado! Coronado is located on a peninsula in San Diego. Coronado has beautiful beaches, a cute town, great food and restaurants, and great hotels! The two most popular and recommended hotels are is the historic Hotel Del Coronado and The Lowes. The best beach to go to is the Silver Strand National State Beach. Here are some good places to eat: Ponchitos (which is located in Imperial Beach), Village Pizzeria, Nado Gelato, Peohe’s, Brigantine, and Leroy’s Kitchen and Lounge. Coronado has some activities like tours of the Hotel Del, Ferry Landing (bike path), going to the beach, shopping in the town, and so much more! A fun shop to visit is the Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory. Whenever I visit Coronado I always visit the souvenir shops and then stop for a bite to eat!

I have been visiting Coronado every year since I was 1 with my family! It is a great place to go on vacation or even just a three day weekend. Coronado may seem small but I never get bored with all the fun activities and great beaches that Coronado has to offer. The atmosphere is so happy and makes you feel like you have been there for years. Coronado is definitely worth the visit!
