Looking Back on my Four Years in Drama Club

Looking Back on my Four Years in Drama Club

Looking back on the four years I’ve spent in Drama Club, I have to say it was a great time. I made so many friends which is surprising because I entered Drama Club being a shy fifth grader. I started Drama Club with the role of a corpse and a party girl. Since then, I have been one of the lead roles in a production (I was Merlin in ‘A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court’). I remember being scared to audition but having the best time after. We play games and get to know each other and then go straight into learning our lines and blocking. My most recent role was Toby in ‘Sherlock Holmes and the First Baker Street Irregular’. This show was very fun because I had an interesting costume that consisted of knickers! When you’re in Drama Club, a surprise is always right around the corner. Whether it’s your costume or role, Drama Club is so fun and is always interesting. You can Join Drama Club starting the fall of fifth grade until graduation in eighth grade.
