Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker – First Teaser

Disney recently released the first teaser for Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. I have to say, I’m impressed. It is exciting and gives us a small glimpse into what the movie will be about, which is what trailers should do. As always, I won’t give too much away, as it is better you experience it for yourself. The teaser also gives away little hints as to what may happen in the movie, for instance, Luke Skywalker narrates parts of the trailer, which might mean he is coming back. To add on to this theory, near the end of the trailer, Luke says “No one’s ever really gone.” So maybe he disappeared into the Force, like Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin did? Also, right after he said “No one’s ever really gone,” we hear Emperor Palpatine’s evil laugh, which might mean the return of the notorious villain. The movie releases around Christmas this year, and I’m excited.
