About two weeks ago, the eighth graders went on a retreat to St. Joseph’s Salesian Youth Center. This was the eighth grade’s last retreat at Saint Philip. As this was also the last time that most of the eighth graders would be on a retreat together, a lot of the retreat was spent apologizing to fellow classmates for things that happened in the past. There were also several projects done in groups to stress the importance of working together and how leadership affects groups. Luckily, there were also games and times to bond with our classmates, as well as time off to run around and play games outside.
