This year’s spring concert was my favorite by far. All grades perform a different song every year. Although 8th graders never sing songs, instead they do a salsa dance. Mrs. Roldan has been choreographing the 8th-grade salsa for around 7 years. I really liked the 8th-grade salsa because not only did they incorporate old traditional salsa but they also had dance moves from this year.  Mrs. Homan puts a lot of work into the spring concerts and makes sure kids are perfect before they go on stage. The kids start practicing 1 month before the actual spring concert day. At the spring concert, I could tell that a lot of effort was put into the performance.  The kids of Saint Philip truly have wonderful voices. Overall, I think that everyone did a really good job in this year’s spring concert!
