It’s going to be tough to do this but this is my 8th-grade goodbye. Nine years of my life have been spent at Saint Philip and I have enjoyed every moment of it. From meeting new friends to having great teachers along the way I will miss Saint Philip. Regardless of my age, Saint Philip will always have a very special place in my heart. Since this article will be up all summer I am going to use this opportunity to talk about what the Falcons Flyer has done for me. Most of my life I have been a very mediocre writer. Not good, not bad but the Falcons Flyer has helped me enhance my ability to write and helped me meet new people. With the Falcons Flyer, I have been able to have fun while at the same time become a better writer and this has been an opportunity that I will forever be grateful for. Even if you think that writing for the school newspaper is something that you would never do I believe that you should give writing for the Falcons Flyer a shot and I promise that you won’t regret it. I also want to say a few things thank you to Mrs. McGrory your class is something that I will never forget. I would also like to finish on one very important thing…. GO, ANGELS!
