                                        By Lindsey Michelena

                                            & Maria Yniguez

Have you ever done the talent show? If you have then you know the amount of practice and work that goes into it. As the Talent Show/Fall Fest is approaching we decided to interview some people who are performing so you can know things like how long they have been doing the Talent Show, when they first started doing it, and how much work they put into it. We decided to interview Stuart Serventi, Erin Michelena, and Madeline Schneiders. Erin and Madeline are dancing to “I Know Places” by Taylor Swift. and Stuart is singing “Stitches, Riptide” by Vance Joy, and “I See Fire, I’m Yours Alone”. Here’s what they have to say.

Stuart:

How many years have you done the Talent Show for?

I’ve been doing the talent show for 5 years

What grade were you in when you first did the Talent Show?

I was in third grade.

Why do you do the talent show?

I like to do the talent show because it’s fun.

Why did you choose some of the songs that you did

I thought they were fun songs and I already knew how to play them.

How do you feeling knowing it’s your last performance in the Talent Show at SPAS?

I feel sad.

Erin and Madeline:

How many years have each of you done the Talent Show?

Erin: I have been doing it for 5 years. Madeline: I have been doing it for 4 years.

What grade were you in when you first did the Talent Show?

Erin: I have been doing it since kindergarten. Madeline: I have been doing it since first grade.

Why do you do the Talent Show?

We do the talent show because we like performing on stage

Why did you choose to dance to “I Know Places” by Taylor Swift?

We chose to dance to that song because it is a fun song to dance to and we both like the song.

These three students are so excited to participate in the 2015 Talent Show! Make sure to go to the Fall Fest to watch them and so many more performers. Including Lindsey Michelena and Maria Yniguez, the writers of this article.
