Every single year, St. Philip the Apostle Schools hosts a Christmas Worship Service, or Christmas Concert, in the Church. Each year, every grade sings one song (or two to three, depending on the grade) which tells the story of the birth of Christ. Mrs. Homan, our music teacher, teaches these songs to us, which are an important part to the Christmas Worship Service. In between each song, an eighth grader will read a passage corresponding with the song. Here is the line up of songs that each grade will sing:

*(This list is not in the order that will sung)

Kindergarten: An Angel Came from Heaven

1st Grade: Away in a Manger

2nd Grade: Mary’s Joy

3rd Grade: O Come, O Come, Emmanuel

4th Grade: Silent Night and We Three Kings

5th Grade: Christmas Time Is Here

6th Grade: See the Star of Bethlehem

7th Grade: Do You Hear What Hear?

8th Grade: Joy to the World, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and Feliz Navidad

This year the Christmas Concert will be on December 20 at 7:00 pm in the Church. There will be cookies and small snacks in Holy Angel Hall after the service. All are welcome to join St. Philip the Apostle School in our annual Christmas Worship Service. It will be a special night for all to enjoy.
