Southern California is a warm place to live, especially in the summer. It is nice to have a nice place to go where you can cool off, such as the beach. Southern California is home to many wonderful beaches such as, Santa Monica Beach and Laguna Beach. These are two of my personal favorites. Santa Monica Beach offers many fun activities such as, the Santa Monica Pier. The Santa Monica Pier has many rides and that are very fun and exciting to go on. In Santa Monica Beach, there are also occasionally beach volleyball tournaments. These are very fun to participate in even if you don’t play volleyball because, it is a time where you can have fun with your friends right by the ocean. Another fun beach is Laguna Beach, though it may be far from here, it is worth the drive once you get there. While in Laguna Beach you can go surfing in the beautiful water, or do things that don’t involve the water like, bike riding. While I am at Laguna Beach my favorite thing to do is swim in the beautiful water, and occasionally bike ride around the nice town. Something that almost everyone would enjoy for both beaches is, watching the beautiful sunsets the beaches offer. No matter what type of person you are, I guarantee that you will find something that interests you at one of these beaches.
