North Korea in the 2018 Winter Olympics
As you may have heard North Korea joining the Winter Olympics this year. They haven’t been in the Winter Olympics since around the 1970s. They have been off and on in participating in the Olympics because many countries do not agree with their leader. The Official Olympic Committee has decided to put the two Koreas (North and South) in the Olympics. They are two separate teams but will march together in the opening ceremony. This years games will be in Pyeongchang, South Korea and some North Korean citizens will help with the opening ceremony. Hopefully there will be no conflicts with North Korea and the other countries. Good luck to all of the athletes! Link to more info and the source I used: http://bigthink.com/charles-koch-institute/what-happens-with-north-korea-after-the-olympics
