Not surprisingly, some of the listed movies captured Oscars at the recently-held 96th ceremony.
Many people thought that “Barbie” would win the Oscar for best song, since it included the very popular “I’m Just Ken”, by Ryan Gosling.
In fact, Gosling’s live performance of the song at the Oscars ceremony was one of the show’s highlights.
“Barbie” did win for Best Original Song, but it was not Gosling who won.
Billie Eilish secured the statuette for “What Was I Made For”.
What movie was the big winner at the 96th Academy Awards?
It was clearly “Oppenheimer” starring Cillian Murphy in the title role.
Murphy earned the Best Actor award for playing acclaimed nuclear physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer.
This box-office smash secured seven Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director (Christopher Nolan), and for Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey, Jr.).
