Boom Overture, an aircraft company, has announced that they are bringing back the Concorde, and three big airlines have already pre-ordered it. For those who don’t know, the Concorde was a legendary passenger jet that was first built in the mid-70s and could fly up to speeds of 1,350 miles per hour and reach a cruising altitude of 60,000 feet. Sadly, the Concorde was retired in 2003, but a plane company, Boom Supersonic, announced that they would return it. They have already shown us concept art and how it would look, and testing has begun. They said that it will be ready by 2028. Three airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, and Japan Airlines have already preordered it. This is big news for the aviation industry, and we are excited to see what will happen next.
