Come join us every Thursday morning to learn more about animals and their impact on our world! We meet every Thursday at 7:30 a.m. to learn creatively and technically. We welcome everyone in grades 4th through 8th, and we are so excited to see you there!
In our club, we will have an animal of the week, and we’ll learn about that animal for up to two weeks. We’ll also have fun weeks, where every member chooses an animal they want to learn more about. During these couple of project weeks, members can choose the type of projects they want. You could decide whether to work on a creative essay, poem, painting, sketch, diorama, or whatever else interests you. You could even make a small presentation slide or video that explains what you have learned about the animal of your choice!
During a typical Animal Club meeting, we will:
Learn about the animal of the week
Watch a video!!
Play a game
Time to go back to class!
We end at 7:55 to give everyone time to return to their classes.
During the first trimester, we learned about land animals from different environments. For the second and current trimester, we are learning about sea animals. For the third and final trimester, we are working on the largest project yet, giving our students a lot of time to make the best project they can.
You can see all Animal Club art projects on the wall near the stairwell next to the art room. Our projects are completely done by the club members. If you have any questions or want to join the club, email [email protected] or [email protected]. Join us!
