In September of 2024, an ad started showing the trailer for A Minecraft Movie. Many people saw the trailer, including me. The movie’s release date was April 4, 2025. Now that the movie is out, chaos has been happening in the movie theaters. During the movie, there is a point where they are made to fight a baby zombie riding a chicken, and the moment that one of the characters, Steve (Played by Jack Black), says “Chicken Jockey”, chaos erupts. People start throwing their snacks in the air, showering people with popcorn and candy, and brawls break out. Once, somebody even managed to sneak in a live chicken and held it up for everyone to see. One time, the riot got so bad that the police had to be called, and around 5 people were escorted out. This also happened when Steve said, “This is a crafting table”, “I…. am Steve”, and “Flint and Steel”. Numerous theaters hang posters telling people not to start riots during the movie. It has gotten so bad that Jack Black himself was hired to talk to the audience before the movie and tell them not to cause chaos during the movie. Who knows, maybe they’ll even station police inside the theater while the movie is happening.
