This September, St. Philip launched its annual book fair. It started on September 15 and ended on September 19. It was called “Mission SPAS”, because this year the school decided to give it a space theme. The books it featured were Sponge Bob Comics, Hunger Games (Particularly its newest book, Sunrise on the Reaping), and cookbooks. It also featured posters from many different things, including Sonic the Hedgehog, The Lakers, and One Piece. Some of the many different items related to reading that you could buy included invisible pens, notebooks, and plushies. The school also ran raffle prizes, where if you spent $50 on the book fair, your name was entered in a raffle to win labubus and gift cards. Not only that, the school also launched a bookmark contest, with the winner being Paulina Shepard in the junior high contest. Overall, the book fair was amazing because it featured many different items spanning across many different genres.
