Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken
This is a great recipe that can be used for both chicken and turkey. It can be served in a variety of ways, such as in taco shells, tortillas, or just in a bowl. I like to eat the chicken or turkey in a tortilla with sour cream, avocado, and salsa, depending on how spicy the batch is.
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 large jar of salsa
1 can black beans
1 can corn (frozen or canned)
Put the boneless chicken breast in your crockpot.
Dump one large jar of salsa
Drain and rinse one can of black beans and dump in crockpot.
Corn- I usually wait and put this in right before I serve it. It only needs to warm up, not cook.
Turn your crockpot on and leave it there all day on low. Come back 10 hours later and open the crockpot. Shred up the chicken. Stir well.
