Gluten Free Cookies

It’s always a struggle to find a sweet delicious snack that can not only help you health wise, but give you something sweet to eat! A good idea is to try some delicious and healthy gluten free chocolate chip cookies! While it may seem out of the ordinary, these cookies are in fact delicious! If you would like to make some of these cookies follow the recipe below:

 

Ingredients:

2 ¼ cups of gluten free baking flour

1 tsp of baking soda

1 tsp of salt

1 cup (2 sticks) Butter, softened

¾ cup of sugar

¾ cup of packed brown sugar

1 tsp of vanilla extract

2 large eggs

2 cups of chocolate chips

 

Directions:

First, preheat your oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit. Then mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl and set it aside. Then beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until it has a creamy texture. After this, add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one is put into the mixture. Gradually add the flour mixture and beat it until it is well blended. Then you will stir in the chocolate chips.

After you have finished the cookie dough, roll the dough into balls about two tablespoons each. Place each of them two inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake the dough for eleven to thirteen minutes or until the cookies are golden brown. Once you take the cookies from the oven, let them cool on baking sheets for five minutes.
