Living Stations of the Cross
Every Holy Thursday during Lent, the 8th grade class acts out the stations of the cross for the whole school. They re-enact the events from when Jesus was condemned to death to when he is laid in the tomb. Throughout Lent, the stations of the cross have been held each Friday to lead us through the Lenten period. Holy Thursday is the last day of school before Easter vacation and the living stations is an event that prepares us for Easter and Jesus’ resurrection because we leave with seeing our savior being crucified and dying on the cross for us.
Mrs. Bello, the junior high religion teacher, chose the students for each role for the stations of the cross. The roles are:
