Do you remember Big Hero 6, the movie? Basically, a team consisting of six masterminds who are also junior scientists fight a villain, inventing different costumes and adopting their “powers” along the way. They become great friends while doing so. Hiro and Baymax, the main characters of the movie, will be back on screens in 2017 – as a Television Series on Disney XD!

The show will pick up where the movie left off in 2014 – with Hiro adjusting to student life at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. In fact, the movie itself is based on a Marvel comic! Big Hero 6 won the Academy Award for Best Animated Picture in 2014. Not only is Big Hero 6 known for the awards it has won, but it also made a lot of money when it was released! The movie was the third highest grossing film in Disney history, earning more than 657 million dollars worldwide.

The series is sure to be a hit – because its executive producers, Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley are the minds between the hit kid’s show “Kim Possible,” which was on air from 2002-2007. I can’t wait!
