Jog-a-thon
On April 22nd, 2016 the second school annual Jog-a-thon occurred. Each grade got their own special colored shirt designed by 3rd grader Alejandro Leyva. The Jog-a-thon allows the students to have a fun running competition against their classmates. Each class runs around 1 basketball court as the other class runs beside them on the other basketball court. Each of the runners receives a card with numbers, that indicate the number of laps they have run, so each time they complete a lap, a number is marked. After the Jog-a-thon is complete each class receives popsicles because of their strong performance in the race. We were so excited this year for the kindergarteners because this was the first of many years running in the Jog-a-thon. Although the whole school has only experienced the Jog-a-thon once last year, lots of kids are excited to get back on the court to try to beat their classmates. Good Job Running Falcons!
