The Airport Book
The Airport Book is a great story about a family taking a trip on an airplane. In the first part of the story, the parents forget the toddler’s stuffed monkey, which is her favorite. However, she has stuffed the monkey into her parent’s suitcase without their knowing. On the airplane, monkey has a close encounter with a friendly dog in the luggage compartment, while the family is reading upstairs. Once they land, the family has fun on their vacation, until they have to come home again. I recommend The Airport Book for kindergarten-second graders who like a great story about a family adventure. The story was also in running for the Mack Caldecott that we did at school. If you like a cute adventure story, I definitely recommend The Airport Book!
