6th Grade Unity Sunday
On Sunday, January 29th, the sixth grade held a Unity Sunday Mass. This is a mass where the students play the roles that adults usually do. For example, they will read the first reading, and the petitions. It was a great turnout for the Unity Mass. Lots of families showed up to support the sixth graders on top of the usual sunday mass crowd. The first and second readings were read by Izzy Core and Franklin Batiste. The responsorial psalm was read by Cecillia Kvochack. The petitions were read by Michael Luiso, Violette Puccia, Bryan Tom, Sophia Islas, Samuel Guerrero, Henry Gunn, Noah Fleishmen, Skylar Medina, and Karina Norton. The vocations prayer was read by Roxy Kee. A majority of the participants were greeters. Other positions were gift bearers who were Eva Domenghini, Ella Arroyo, and Jessica Albino. The open house announcement was given by Ella Arroyo. The altar servers were Nikki Hernandez Robinson, Lucas Mendez, and Jessie Morales. Over all the Unity Mass was a great success and I look forward to the next one.
