CYO Finals!
On Veterans Day, our cross country team had their last meet, besides the people that made it to the finals. All of our divisions placed in the top four which no school has achieved. The 3rd and 4th grade novice runners, had to run ¾ of a mile. Our 5th and 6th grade “B” runners, ran 1 mile. And our 7th and 8th grade varsity runners ran 1 and a ½ miles. This meet was at Hollydale Park in Southgate. Over 50 schools were competing with over 800 runners. Anyone who finished in the top 8 will go on to the finals. The novice boys placed second overall and the novice girls placed fourth. The girls in the “B” team placed 2nd and the “B” boys ran an outstanding race and got 3rd place. Last but not least, the varsity girls placed 1st once again and the varsity boys placed 4th. All of these runners worked hard and ran hard. They all had fun and can’t wait till next season! Don’t forget track season is coming up in January!
