The St. Philip 2022 Spring Concert was held on May 13, 2022 on the blacktop after school.

This was the first spring concert in two years, as the other two were canceled due to COVID-19.

All grades worked very hard on their songs for this year. 

Seventh grade prepared for months, beginning last year in music class, and wrote compositions played on the recorder and xylophone. For this year’s concert,  the 7th grade played two compositions, which were written by Zachary Bloss and Brendan Vanis.  The class of 2023 also sang “I’m Gonna Rise Up Singing”, which is a fast-paced, upbeat song. The instruments played included the recorder, xylophone, metallophone, and glockenspiels.

Eighth graders entertained the crowd with a great salsa dance, which they had been practicing for several weeks.

This year’s Spring Concert proved to be a huge success and everyone who performed or attended had a wonderful time.
