Hello again, and welcome back to another week at school! I hope your weekend was nice and restful, as every good weekend should be. Now, as you all know, this week on Friday we’ll be holding Grandparents and Special Friends Day to go along with our May Crowning (As an 8th grader, I feel particularly excited). In any case, hopefully you’ll be able to use these words to impress whoever you bring along, because let’s face it, it’s always a pleasure to impress people who are older than you.
1. Acrimony
Definition:
- Bitterness or ill feeling
- Harsh or biting sharpness, especially of words, manner, or disposition

2. Suave
Definition:
- (Especially of a man) Charming, Confident, and Elegant
- Smoothly, though often superficially, gracious and sophisticated
- Smooth in texture, performance, or style
