Peacebuilder of the Week
Every morning we come to school to see the bright and passionate faces of our student council team. This year was the first year to have our announcements on a live stream performed by the one and only St. Philip student council members! The first week, Rory Burke, an eighth grader, Katrina Manaloto an eighth grader as well, and Heather Dopke, currently a seventh grader all received the Peacebuilder award from Mrs. Natalie. The whole school was able to see the school spirited faces of Rory Burke and Katrina Manaloto, but without Heather Dopke who worked behind the scenes, these announcements would not be possible. Mrs. Natalie would like to thank these three girls for helping create the first visual morning announcements. Because of their enthusiasm and hard work other student council members are doing morning announcements, but they will always be the first. To make great morning announcements they couldn’t just show up and say the lines so they stayed behind after Meet the Teacher Day to practice. Thank you for being a peacebuilders and making the cool new announcements. Keep being peace builders.
