End of Fall B Sports
St. Philip is the team to beat in most sports. This was true with the fall sports, as St. Philip did well in B fall sports. The Black B football team went undefeated, at seven wins and one tie. The Girls B Black volleyball team was nine and two going into the final game of their season,
Players on the Red volleyball team are unsure of their record. The usual Red-Black game to conclude the season was last Friday.
The Red football team finished at four wins, three losses and a tie. That tie was between the two teams, and is the only game that the Black football team did not win. The score for that game was 28 to 28.
While other CYO teams have just one team for each division, St. Philips has two, and tries to prevent one team from getting most of the top players, which means that St. Philip should be just in the middle for most of the sports. That is not the case for most of the teams, as the falcons are the top teams in many sports.
All four teams have had a lot of fun during the season, which started with tryouts in September and ended this past week.
