Peacebuilder of the week: Johnny Javelera
This weeks peacebuilder of the week is Johnny Javelera! Johnny is in KB and already is becoming a great peacebuilder. He is a great example of what being a good peacebuilder is! He has done the first sentence of the peacebuilders pledge which is to praise people. I even got the honors of telling Johnny he had received a peacebuilder. In order to show his great enthusiasm for being a good peacebuilder I decided to ask him a couple questions.
FF: Is This the first peacebuilder you have ever gotten?
Johnny: Yes, this is the first peacebuilder I have ever gotten
FF: How can you inspire other people to be good peacebuilders?
Johnny: You could tell them to say nice things to other people
Johnny received this peacebuilder referral for praising his classmate as she built a word. This peacebuilder referral was given to him by Mrs. Ramos. Johnny is a great example to all of us on how to be great peacebuilders because we can learn that even the littlest things can get you rewards for being a nice person.

As Johnny Javelera’s Grandma Ann, I will say from the beginning Johnny has been a kind and special person. He seems to have the ability to read other people’s feelings. He is kind and, I like to call him an old soul. I feel blessed to call him my special grandson John.

I am so very proud of my nephew Johnny. He is a truly good and kind human being. He makes the world a better place and like any great super hero does good without asking for anything from those he helps. I love my boy Johnny. Super Johnny!!
