First Grader in May Crowning Ceremony
The annual May Crowning is coming and each year a first grader gets picked to help crown Mary with two eighth grader’s. May Crowning is also when both the eighth graders present speeches to the school. Charlotte Norton is being awarded by participating in the May Crowning ceremony. May Crowning is a mass on grandparents and special friends. Charlotte Norton is in first grade in Mrs. Liebers class. Charlotte is really excited to participate in this mass. So we asked her a few questions about how she feels and how she is going to prepare for this event. The first question we asked her was how she feels about getting chose for the ceremony and she seems like she was very excited about being chosen. Then we asked her if she was nervous and she said yes but she still was very excited. Then we asked her if she had found a dress to wear to the ceremony and she has. Our last and final question that we asked Charlotte was how does this make you feel more connected with God and her was response was that she feels like she is doing something for the church. We believe that Charlotte is going to do great at the ceremony and seems very well prepared. This ceremony is being held on Friday, May 12. We are looking forward to seeing Charlotte Norton participate in this mass and we hope you are too!
