MLB Season

MLB+Season

The Major League Baseball season is about ⅓ of the way completed and at this point, the Red Sox have the best record in the league at 38-17 two games ahead of the second-best team in the league the Yankees. The Red Sox have started out very well they lead the league in team average and they are second in home runs and RBIs. The other division leaders in the American League are the Indians and the Astros. In the National League, the division leaders are the Brewers, the Rockies, and the Braves and Nationals are tied for first in the east. If the playoffs started today then a lot of teams that were considered to be contenders at the beginning of the season would not make the playoffs like the Angels, Twins, Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Giants, Mets, and Cardinals. One of the most disappointing teams of the season who has not played to their expectations after being in the World Series a year ago is the Dodgers they are 3 games under a five hundred record but they have won 8 out of their last 10 games. The last ⅔ of the season is always interesting and it will be fun to see what happens leading up to the playoffs.
