Read Live Start Up
Since Read Live is starting up, it’s nice to get educated on all Read Live has to offer. Just to make sure to get everything right, I interviewed Ms. De Roulhac, who helps with the Read Live program. Here are the questions I asked her:
- What’s the purpose of Read Live?
- How do you get into the Read Live program?
- Does the Read Live program make an impact?
- What’s your favorite part about Read Live?
- How long is Read Live? What days are the program on?
- Is there anything you wish more people knew about Read Live?
- How long is the average student in Read Live?
Ms. De Roulhac responded that the purpose of Read Live is to support students with reading. As for the way you get into the Read Live program, you are invited, recommended by a teacher, or because of an assessment. The Read Live program also has been seen to really help a lot of students. Ms. Roulhac’s favorite thing about Read Live is working with students and watching them progress.
In addition to that, Read Live is three days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 40 minutes every day. As for if there was anything she wished more people knew about Read Live, is that it’s a great program to offer. Finally, the average student is in Read Live varies, but a lot of students are in Read Live for one session, which is around a trimester. Then the students are retested and assessed to see if they can stop attending Read Live. Having a strong reading comprehension can be important later on, so Read Live is a great program to consider!
