
The famous holiday, known as St. Patrick’s Day, is coming up. That means its time for the Leprechaun to come! The Leprechaun originates from Irish folklore as solitary, mischief-making fairy cobblers known for guarding treasure. They have roots in Celtic mythology and early tales from the 8th century. They were originally described in red jackets, they were often dressed in a mix of red, brown, and grey. We later turned it into a green creature that is heavily influenced by stereotypes of the Irish.
