Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss is a favorite of little kids everywhere, even outranking the popular Cat in the Hat. The story is about the main character, who is pestered by Sam-I-Am. Sam-I-Am offers the main character to try green eggs and ham in various places, such as a train and car, and with various animals, such as a fox and a mouse. One of the lesser known details about this book is that the entire book is written with only 50 different words. Dr. Seuss wrote the book on a bet with one of his colleagues. Green Eggs and Ham is a great book that every kid has read at least once.
