What’s going on in First Grade?
This week we decided to interview some first graders to find out what was happening in their class. For this article we interviewed Lila Munoz, Chloe Anido, Nicholas Medina, and Gilbert Islas In 1A. The first graders recently did their Arctic projects, where they did a research and a diagram of an arctic animal. Each of them told us what they did their project on, plus something else they liked to do is class. Lila’s project was on reindeer, and her favorite thing to do is draw. Nicholas did his project on the arctic fox, and he said he enjoyed reading in class. Chloe was next, and she had the Alaskan Malamute as her animal for her Arctic Project. When we asked her what she was currently working on, Chloe said, “We are writing about love for Valentine’s Day.” Last, but not least, was Gilbert Islas. He did his project on the harp seal, and said that he liked learning and writing about God in class. Thank you so much first-graders, great job. We hope you enjoyed reading and learned a little more about life in the first grade.
