5th Grade Science Fair
The fifth graders at St. Philip are currently working on their Science Fair Projects. The Science Fair will take place on Tuesday, February 23rd in Holy Angel Hall. After several conversations with the fifth grade I learned that they have some very interesting topics. Here are a few of their responses when asked directly what their project is about: Zachary Bowles is testing which meat will mold faster, those with preservatives or without preservatives. Lauren Fajardo is analyzing which liquids damage your teeth the most. Natalie Miera is questioning which material will make the best paper airplane. Kaden Kuritani learned which drink cleans pennies the best. Drew Miller is testing which color of bowl dogs will eat from. Henry Gunn is examining what kind of meat dissolves the quickest in Coca-Cola; sausage, bacon, ham, steak or chicken. Luke Mendez discovered which color dissolved the fastest in water, vinegar, or Sprite. Finally, Jason Alietti is testing in which environment a potato will grow the fastest, water, darkness, or in the ground. Please stop by the Science Fair on the 23rd of February to check out all these wonderful experiments, their outcomes, and more interesting topics.
Robert Alietti is an 8th grader in Mr. W's class. He has 1 sibling, Jason, in 6th grade. He loves to play sports, play his guitars, and he LOVES to...
