On the first day of school I interviewed two kindergartners. Their names were Jordyn Powers, who is in KB, and Andrew Ralph who is in KA. I asked them a few questions about how their day was going as the new kindergarteners at St. Philip. This is what they said:
Question : How did you feel when you came to school today?
Answer- Jordyn: I was happy when I came to school today because it was the first day of kindergarten.
Answer- Andrew: I was happy when I came to school today because I saw all my friends that I knew before kindergarten.
Question: What are your thoughts on kindergarten so far?
Answer- Jordyn: I am happy because I can see my friends:
Answer- Andrew: I think kindergarten is fun because I can play with my friends and play baseball with all my friends.
Question: What has been your favorite part of the day so far?
Answer- Jordyn: My favorite part of the day so far is recess because I can play with all my friends.
Answer- Andrew: My favorite part is playing baseball with all my friends.
Question: Have you made any new friends today?
Answer- Jordyn: Yes I have.
Answer- Andrew: Yes.
Question: What are you looking forward to in the future while in kindergarten?
