Would it be better if we used artificial trees so we don’t cut down real trees, or are real trees still better than the production and plastic used in artificial trees? I’d be interested to know.

We did a debate on this in Mrs. Behr’s class! I was on the real tree side. The main argument for artificial trees was the allergies but since an equal amount of people are allergic to fake trees as real ones because of the allergens used in the materials, the argument isn’t as solid. Most tree companies use plots of land where they plant as many if not twice as many trees as they cut down. Since the plastics in artificial trees are horrible for the environment, real trees are much more environmentally conscious.
