A Curse: A Fanfiction Chapter 16
Chapter 16- What Do We Do?
Shadow
“How could he cause so much destruction in such little time?” Amy asked astonished. “We’re deadly on our own. All together? Total annihilation.” Shadow stated simply. “What are we going to do?” Silver asked. “What is there to do?” Knuckles replied grimly. “Tails,” Sonic turned to the young fox, “do you have a plan?” “I wish.” he denied. Everyone sighed. Hm. This isn’t good. How can we- Of course! “There is one way.” Shadow said thoughtfully. “Really? What is it?” Rouge asked curiously. “It is the course of action against every threat.” he stated knowingly. “Death.”
Silver
Silence filled the air as Shadow’s comment sunk in. “But, to kill someone to save the world… In the end, is it the right thing to do?” Silver said finally. “Look at the city, Silver. It would be different if it was killing someone innocent, but this? That is no person now,” Shadow explained, “that’s a madman.” Sonic sighed, “Alright, how are we going to destroy someone who has all our power?” “And there’s the question of the year!” Shadow answered sarcastically. Blaze, who had been quietly listening and thinking, said, “We can go to the original casting spot of the Curse and see if there are any hints.” “At least that gives us a lead.” Amy said helpfully. “Ya! Let’s go!” Sonic said cheerfully. With that, the heroes were off.
Griffin
This is amazing! I’ve never had power like this before! Though the power was great, Griffin’s body had changed to adapt to each skill. He had grown stronger thanks to Knuckles and, strangely enough, had developed limbs that resembled wings, allowing him to use Tails’s gift of flight. While the transformation was painful, it was worth it! Chaos energy was especially helpful. I can understand now why he was a threat. Upon thinking that, he had a sudden wave of an unexpected feeling. No. What I did on the ARK fifty years ago was the right thing… Wasn’t it?
Rouge
This has been a long day. A whole lot of craziness, that’s for sure! I definitely didn’t expect to get captured! Rouge looked at the people around her, and locked gazes with a particular hedgehog. Walking over, she commented, “Rough day, huh?” He snorted, “No kidding.” In a softer tone, she asked,”You okay?” Unfazed, he responded, “Why wouldn’t I be?” “Well, you know, with him being who he is-” Rouge started but was cut off. “I’m fine.” “Shadow, I can tell something’s wrong.” They stared at each other, waiting. Finally, “I am a little shocked by this turn of events, but I’m fine Rouge. Does that make you happy?” he said, annoyed. She smiled and nodded. “Let’s go.” The two walked together in silence.
